More Than Tennis: Confidence, Teamwork, and Growth
For the first time in Sonoma junior tennis history, Sonoma Community Tennis at Hanna Center will be competing in a junior league sponsored by USTA Northern California.
Come support these amazing young athletes as they represent our community and play some beautiful tennis!
The public is welcome to follow along and come watch the matches. Best of all, this is a community service offered free of charge.
Junior Traveling Team
Our competitive traveling team represents Sonoma in the USTA NorCal Junior League. Players travel to clubs across the North Bay for home-and-away matches throughout the spring season. A great opportunity for juniors to experience team competition and sportsmanship.
Junior Team Tennis
USTA Junior Team Tennis is a fun, social, team-based format where kids play singles and doubles in a supportive environment. Matches are scored using a round-robin format so every player gets court time. Open to all skill levels — the emphasis is on participation, teamwork, and fun.

Easter Break: There are no matches scheduled for Easter Sunday (4/5/26).
Playoffs: Playoffs will be held on 5/3/26. The time, opponent, and location are TBD based on final league standings (1st hosts 2nd, 3rd hosts 4th).
What to Expect
For Players
- Arrive 30 minutes before match time for warm-up
- Wear your SCT team shirt (provided)
- Bring water, snacks, and sunscreen
- Matches include singles and doubles play
- All skill levels welcome — emphasis is on fun and sportsmanship
For Spectators
- Home matches are free and open to the public
- Bring a chair — seating is courtside
- Cheer loudly but respectfully during play
- Matches typically last 2–3 hours
